As socialists, we share a belief in human dignity, equality, human rights, and living in a right relationship with the environment. As people of faith, we know that our religious diversity makes us strong.
The Religion and Socialism working group provides a pluralistic, welcoming, safe, and inclusive space for people of faith in the socialist movement as we build coalitions across the Religious Left by organizing and mobilizing clergy and lay leaders in our faith communities.
Thus:
Any successful socialist movement must be founded upon a strong contingent of religious people.
