Where: Church of the Village•201 W 13th St, New York

After almost three years the Religion & Socialism Working Group will be meeting again in-person!

The theme of this meeting will be justice and hope, and we will be discussing socialist movement victories of the past year and our hopes for next year.

Agenda:

  • Get to know each other: Introduce a comrade to the group!

  • Hope and Justice: An introduction by Rev. Jeff Wells

  • Elliot Lewis, co-chair of the Union Power Priority Campaign speaks on 2022’s labor movement victories!

  • Discussion: What should we work on in 2023?

  • Announcements and report-backs on WG projects.

  • We may go out to socialize in the village after the meeting

Notes:

  • This is a hybrid meeting. A Zoom link will be provided for those who can't make it in person.

  • Please bring a snack to share with comrades if you can!

  • Masks are optional but encouraged.

Thank you so much to Reverend Wells for allowing us to use this space.

It's going to be fun! We hope to see you all there and encourage you to invite a friend or comrade.
